Mount Joy has a great list of events that takes place on the Fourth Friday of each month.

The best of Lancaster County in wine and food being prepared by former White House Chef 

John Moeller.

The menu will be sure to please and a wine paired with each course will be served.

A judge from Virginia stayed at the inn who knew good wine as she had a wine cellar, had wines shipped from California and Europe.

I told her of Waltz Vineyard  and she thought to herself "Georgie, can't be correct that such excellent wine could be found in this area".

The judge returned from visiting Waltz with a case of wine that should found  to be outstanding.

MOUNT JOY PA

Jack called last evening about 8:30 and said "I flew up from Raleigh NC to the Amtrak in Philadelphia.

I am catching the train from 30th Street Station to Mount Joy.  How far are you from the train station?"

I replied that "We are two and half blocks".

I asked Jack how he found me, knew about the train to Mount Joy, our location which is a walking distance from the train station, and the Manheim Auto Auction.

"I found everything I needed on my Iphone."

Wow, am I glad I did the mobile when rebuilding the website.

Thank you Acorn Internet for that encouragement!

Jack said "that is great.  I am going to the Manheim Auto Auction and I will call them in the morning for shuttle service or taxi since you are a short drive from there".

When Jack was having breakfast this morning we chatted and he said "Amtrak is so easy and helpful.  I love taking the train over airports and I save in fuel.  It is less money for me to do the train than to drive."

When he was finished with breakfast Jack said "it was an absolute delicious breakfast, especially the sausage."  

We  told him it was done in New England Maple Syrup.  

He thought it was the sausage and wanted to get to the butcher right there and then.

So wonderful to hear compliments on so many ends of the spectrum!
