NEWSLETTER FOR THE OLDE SQUARE INN

More locals are coming to stay at the Olde Square Inn and finding a great weekend to be experienced.  So many live in their community but don't experience it.
There is  great wineries, art galleries, gardens, rails to trails, kayaking, canoeing, biking, covered bridges, museums, restaurants within walking distance with many of them having beautiful patios! Come, we will help you explore the area and know where to "tuck" you in for great experiences.
The guest rooms have been completed in their new looks.  The fourth floor is now open and a beautiful suite.
The fourth floor suite boasts colors of teal, white, a two person soaking tub and great relaxation with a little hideaway of your own.
A new website is being built and will be unveiled come the middle of the summer.
The pool is just being opened and we are working hard to get into top shape.
The third floor deck is underway in being a little niche to sit out on and have an evening nightcap (BYO).  We hope to have a bit of a water garden up there. Our goal is to have this open by mid summer.
The rain and the cloudy weather have put us behind in gardening.
The grand porch is now set up for outdoor dining with weather permitting.
Fireplaces have been closed down for the season as the pilot light places to much heat into the rooms.
More folks are bring their wonderful pets to the inn.  We try to have no more than two dogs at a time in the inn.  All folks are very responsible with their pups when bringing them.  This weekend we had a great dog who was a cross between a Bull Mastiff and Bloodhound.  So obedient and gracious.
We now have beautiful rugs in our rooms and the hardwood floors have been exposed in most of the rooms.  Just a few rooms had to keep the carpet because of the noise factor.
Small parties, weddings under thirty, retreats, scrapbooking (with a scrapbooking store across the street), book club, girlfriend getaways, small parties, showers have been taking place at the inn.
The piano gets to be heard when a guest reveals that they play this wonderful instrument.
Breakfasts are still fresh, with the eggs coming from the local farmer, breads homemade, fresh cobblers, local meats and much more.
This season almost always fresh flowers are throughout the inn.
We hope you will come and spend some time with us as we love to have the inn filled with laughter and life. The carriage house is a great place for families, children under twelve are welcome in there.  This is your own private little getaway.
Location, location, location..........we sit in the middle of a great central location, ten minutes to Lancaster, twenty minutes to Hershey, twenty minutes to York, thirty minutes to Harrisburg and an hour to Gettysburg.
Amtrak is three blocks from us.
Whatever the reason, the season or destination in Lancaster County you will find warm hospitality at the Olde Square Inn.
