Music in the Vineyards 2011 is a series of ten open air lawn concerts, held every Saturday evening, July 2nd thru Labor Day Weekend, on the spacious lawn of the Nissley Winery from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Information about the upcoming concert, including weather conditions,  will be posted here, usually beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the day before the concert. 
For information about what happens when it rains, please see our Rain Policy on the amenities page. 
Canceling a concert is extremely rare.  If cancellation should become necessary a notice would be posted on this page, as soon as we know.     
Notice regarding minors and small children:  No one under age 21 will be admitted to the concerts.  This includes babies and small children.
Arrival time:  the grounds will be open all day, and they will be ready for the concert at 6:00 p.m.    We recommend that you arrive anytime between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the free Long’s Park Summer Music Series.

Along with our Paddle Evening Rendezvous, the Sunday Brunch Paddle Rendezvous are one of our most popular programs.  The format is the same.  Enjoy a guided paddle tour suitable for all skill levels including beginners, then finish with a delicious brunch in The Rookery.  Come by yourself or reserve a table with friends – either way this is a great way to begin your day on the Susquehanna at Shank’s Mare.  Reservations and pre-payment required.

Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum Art and Craft Show

Times of Event: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Join us on the beautiful grounds surrounding The Weathervane, the Museum Store, for this special day when local artists and craftspeople demonstrate and sell their work. Browse through gazebos filled with artwork, handmade baskets, woodwork, redware pottery, shaker boxes, jewelry, clothing and accessories, brooms, gourmet foods and much more. Food will be available for purchase.

Live music provided by the Ragtime Willie Band, a local four piece funky folk band originally formed in 1977. Their style is Americana, folk-based popular music.

This is a gem of history and always it intrigues me.  I think of it as my own little "Williamsburg" in Lancaster County.

Stay at the Olde Square Inn while enjoying this event.  Located just fifteen minutes away.  Bring your swimsuit for a dip in the pool.

The trial gardens cover research of over 1,300 flower varieties and serving the climate extending from Vermont to North Carolina and westward to Ohio.
Master Gardeners this a great opportunity for you to obtain more information about the flowers growing in these trail gardens.
