Wolf Awareness Day

                  Wolf Awareness Day
             October 9, 2011

I have had the privilege of hearing the wolf howl in the night as I slept in the mountains of Colorado.  It is a beautiful sound to hear in the night where the sky is so very black and the stars are so clear that you think you can reach out to one.

The Wolf Sanctuary at Speedwell Forge presents "Wolf Awareness Day" from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.  The day will be one for the family filled with crafts, games entertainment and face painting.

On this special day you will learn about the 40 wolves at the sanctuary and see them.

Make this a weekend getaway and stay at the Olde Square Inn. Show us a tidbit from participating in this event and  we will make a donation to the Wolf Sanctuary.
