The Eagle
and the
Susquehanna River

The Susquehanna River is home to one of the largest areas of Eagle's in Pennsylvania.  They have come to love the river and the numbers of Eagles are growing larger. This is the largest number of Eagles on the river since the Revolutionary War
Many don't know that the area of Columbia, Wrightsville and surrounding counties are filled with an abundance of wildlife, rails to trails, hiking at Chiques Rock which gives a spectacular view of the Susquehanna River.
Make a date with Shank's Mare a local outfitter and they will guide you to the rocks on the river where the Indians have left behind.
their art work.
Stay at the Olde Square Inn where we know the glorious spots for nature lover's and other gems bestowed in this area.
Come in the spring when the gardens are in bloom or the summertime when you can sip a glass of ice tea by the pool
